Starfall is a great site for students to practice their reading skills.
First Grade will be using ClassDojo as our distance learning platform. This is where you will submit your student's work, view class announcements, and message with Mrs. Owings.
Epic is a website that allows students to choose books to read or have books read to them. You will receive an invite to Epic from Mrs. Owings. Once you accept the invitation and create an account, you will have access to all books, including our class library. Epic keeps track of the books students read and the amount of time they spend reading. This will be used as a reading log for reading participation during the school year.
