We had so much fun making and eating guacamole today!

Today we dissected seeds and talked about the different parts of a seed.  Check back tomorrow to see pictures of us planting our seeds!

We created an art piece that incorporated our knowledge of Vincent Van Gogh, plants, and symmetry.

After reading "The Frog Prince" and seeing the play, we made our own frogs using oil pastels! 

We had an awesome time at Theatre West yesterday!

Last week we welcomed Spring by reading books about the season and painting. Students used what they learned about pointillism to create their Spring art pieces.  

 

Students played a dice game today to practice their doubles plus one addition facts! 

As part of our celebration of Dr. Seuss this week, we did a directed drawing of The Cat in the Hat. 

Everyone who participated in the Read-A-Thon received a book today!  Woohooo!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We are getting ready for our 100th Day of School! Today we made gum ball machines filled with 100 gum balls.  The 100th Day of School is in two days.  Don't forget, the t-shirt project is due on Wednesday!

Today we began our Astronomy Domain!  We went outside with our Astronomy Journals and drew what we saw in the sky.
